Abstract:
This article is devoted to finite element analysis of
scalar diffraction problem on two-dimensional and three-dimensional complex
scatterers using partial radiation conditions. The article presents the main
results of testing the proposing program. Tests have shown good agreement
between the numerical and analytical solutions of the diffraction problem on
canonical scatterers: on an infinite cylinder in the two-dimensional case and
sphere in the three-dimensional case. Also, to demonstrate the capabilities of
the developed program, number of calculations for diffraction on complex
scatterers was presented.
Key words: diffraction problem, finite element method, partial
radiation conditions.
