Abstract. Triangulate estimation modified method, based on “increasing” conception of target location ordinary marks and their following “clusterization”, for expected uncertainty modification is developed. Various tests for detection optimality of questionable measuring channels and consequent estimate generation algorithms of target location are given. Comparison results of these algorithms in accuracy and operational efficiency are presented.

Key words: emission source, passive location triangulate system, target location, bearings, cluster, gating, “increasing” conception, “clusterization” conception, tests for optimality.
