Abstract. The study of the developed combined defected ground structures in the form of slits between two patch antennas and their effect on increasing antenna isolation has been conducted. Based on the manufactured experimental samples, the reflection and transmission coefficients between the antennas (S21) were measured in four location variations for each structure.
Keywords: defected ground, patch antenna, reflection coefficient, transmission coefficient, mutual coupling.
