The article presents the method of synthesis of the current’s amplitude-phase
distribution on the dish antenna’s reflection surface, that preserves the given
constant pattern characteristics over a wide frequency band. The fundamental relations
are presented and properties of the amplitude-phase distribution, which
supports stability characteristics of the radiation pattern over the three-octave
frequency band, are investigated on the example of a parabolic cylinder.
