Abstract.  The results of numerical simulation of the output characteristics of a miniature four-beam klystrode designed for operation in the frequency range 200-700 MHz with continuous output power of about 300 W in-band gain of 8 MHz are described. The results of experimental studies of the layout of the output two-mode double-gap resonator on the PCB are given. The possibility of independent tuning of the resonator simultaneously in-phase and anti-phase modes of oscillations, the frequencies of which correspond to the first and third harmonics of the input signal, is shown. The usage of single-stage recovery allows to increase technical efficiency to about 70%. The device can be used instead of the microwave tetrodes in phased array radar UHF.
