Abstract. The article considers the problem of improving the accuracy of estimation of efficiency of information delivery via high-speed radio link (VRL) of space systems of remote sounding of the Earth with consideration of the reliability of the VRL and the amount of frame data link layer. Based on the Shannon formula taking into account the energy ratios for the lines of satellite communication, the necessary bandwidth, the volume of the channel frame and the probability of error in information transmission mathematical expressions for bandwidth estimation of the radio link and the transmission time information to the ground receiving point. The influence of the probability of bit error in information transmission and the main parameters of the radio signal (speed error-correcting coding and the index of phase manipulation signal) on the value of VRL bandwidth and transmission time information to the ground receiving point.
