Abstract. In this article describes the possibility of using rectennas for receiving and converting solar radiation in the infrared range. In the course of the work, a nanometer antenna (nanoantenna) and a rectal array with a resonant frequency of 300 THz were modeled. The developed numerical model of the rectennas system makes it possible to estimate changes in the directivity pattern and efficiency depending on the size, number of nanoantenna cells in the lattice and rectenna substrate material. The parameters of the MIM diode required in the rectenna rectifying circuit are also estimated, numerical values of the capacitance necessary to obtain a highly efficient rectenna are obtained.
