Abstract. The results of study of the individual behavior of the subjects influenced by monotonous factors in a depleted environment are given. Electrodermal activity indicators, and indicators of accuracy and timeliness of response to signals were recorded during the experiment. In addition, the subjects took psychological tests to determine their psycho-emotional stability and the level of volitional self-regulation. The analysis showed that the individual electrodermal activity indicators of the subjects vary in consistence with their psychological characteristics. A variant of the assessment of the psychophysiological costs of the subjects when performing a motivated task is proposed. The study results can be used to monitor the health status of a human operator.

Key words: electrodermal activity, functional state, wakefulness, monotony, human factor, psychological testing, human operator, reliability of activity.
