SIGNAL ALGORITHMICS OF THE SOFTWARE-CONFIGURABLE

RADIO MONITORING MODULE

WITH FREQUENCY SCANNING SWEEP

Abstract. The paper presents an analysis of scientific and practical development of software-configurable radio monitoring module based on RTL2832U tuner in Simulink environment in order to scan a given ultra-short-wave (VHF) frequency range and perform automatic search, counting and output of the number of broadcasting stations. Given is a structural and circuit diagram of the modernized SDR-receiver (Software Defined Radio) with the inclusion of a balanced mixer, expanding the frequency range of the SDR-receiver from 1.8 GHz to 4.6 GHz. We developed an algorithm for controlling the software architecture of the scanning radio monitoring module, which searches for radio signals in a given band, calculates the spectral power of radio signals, counts the number of detected radio channels.
