THE INFLUENCE OF SALINITY
ON THE SOIL’S DIELECTRIC CHARACTERISTIC

Abstract. A comparative analysis of the soil's dielectric spectra with differ salt content was carried out. Laboratory measurements of dielectric constant were carried out for soil samples selected in the basin of Lake Ebeity and the southwestern part of the Omsk region. A general description of the dielectric spectra and radiophysical characteristics associated with them is given. These dependencies can be used in assessing the radiophysical characteristics of the underlying surface when solving applied problems of radiation and propagation of radio waves.
