A system for locating the coordinates
of a radio emission source
on small-sized MOBILE PLATFORMS

Abstract. The analysis of methods for designing a system for locating radio sources placed on small-sized mobile platforms has been carried out. A block diagram of the directional finding system has been developed. The dependencies of the error in measuring the direction angle and locating the coordinates of the radio source for different radio emission frequencies have been estimated. A two-stage directional finding method has been proposed. In the first stage directional finding is performed using the amplitude method and using the phase method in the second stage.
