ASSESSMENT OF THE LEVEL OF ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE
GENERATED IN AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
BY A MICROWAVE RADIATION SOURCE

Abstract. A model for estimating the level of interference signals induced on the elements of an electronic device's switching circuit by an external source of microwave electromagnetic waves is proposed. Typical geometric configurations of the elements of the switching circuit that perform the functions of receiving elements are highlighted. The possible levels of interference signals at different distances from the source of interference have been determined. The frequency range and power of interference signals, which can lead to malfunction of electronic devices, are estimated.
