Abstract. Algorithms for detecting single and sequence ultra-wideband signals with unknown moments of appearance and disappearance, received against the background of interference, have been developed. Statistical characteristics of synthesized signal detection algorithms have been found and their efficiency has been studied.

Key words: Gaussian narrowband interference, quasi-likelihood, moment of appearance and disappearance, ultra-wideband signal, Fokker-Planck-Kolmogorov equation.
