The estimation of scanning capabilities of two multibeam Dragonian reflector antennas

Abstract. The calculation results of two multibeam offset Dragonian reflector antennas with concave hyperboloidal subreflectors analysis are presented. Reflector antennas under investigation have a 100 wavelength circular apertures. The estimation of far fields and antenna efficiency for different angles of beam deflection in two planes is performed. The study of cross-polarization characteristics is carried out. Results of numerical calculations of scanning capabilities for two possible feed arrangements are shown.
