Abstract. Non-invasive studies of intrinsic electromagnetic radiation (EMR) of the human brain in a wide frequency range from 850 MHz to 26.5 GHz are presented. The researches were carried out by specialized measuring equipment - the latest generation spectrum analyzer with high sensitivity and electromagnetic radiation detection rate, specialized measuring antennas and low-noise amplifying equipment in a protected environment of an anechoic shielded chamber (APC) of the 1st class of protection. As a result, previously unknown microwave UHF/SHF range (from 1.5 to 4.5 GHz) with a signal power of -130 dBm -100 dBm (1 * e-15 - 1 * e-13 W) were recorded having zonal differences in different areas of the human head and absent from measurements from other parts of the body of the patients. The registration of microwave radiation by the human brain opens a new information channel that will allow the development of the technology of microwave encephalography (MWEG).

Key words: electromagnetic radiation, higher nervous activity, human brain, microwave encephalography MWEG, neurodiagnosis.
