FORMATION AND PROCESSING OF RADAR SIGNALS

TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE POLARIZATION PROXIMITY

Abstract. The polarization proximity and depth of polarization modulation of radio waves scattered by stable radar targets are considered. The function of the polarization proximity of radio waves is analyzed when irradiating a dihedral corner reflector with linearly polarized signals modulated by the orientation angle. The polarization characteristics of radio waves scattered by two- and three-sided corner reflectors, a non-reciprocal object and a linear vibrator are modeled. The mode of full polarization scanning of a low-contrast radar target is investigated.
