Abstract. A gold deposit in Eastern Yakutia was studied using deep georadar to a depth of up to 300 m. The main structural features of the upper part of the section, including permafrost, were identified, and promising zones for exploratory drilling were indicated. The high spatial resolution of deep GPR ensured the determination of a 2-meter-thick granodiorite-porphyry dike both in the frozen rocks and in the underlying thawed layers. The base of the permafrost rocks is conspicuous on the radargrams. According to drilling data, the high-resistance anomaly observed on the deep GPR data corresponds to the ore zone in the enclosing permafrost, which is characterized by a lower electrical resistivity.

Key words: deep GPR, gold-quartz vein, high spatial resolution.
