Abstract. Based on the analysis of known methods of technical solutions, a two-stage method of calibration of the receiving active phased array antenna array (AFAR) of a long-range detection radar station (RLS) is proposed. The peculiarity of this calibration algorithm, which does not require physical modification of the antenna array and the use of expensive measuring equipment, makes it possible to determine the difference in the characteristics of the AR channels and compensate for this difference.

Key words: active phased array antenna, receiving and transmitting module, directional pattern, phase shifter, analog-to-digital converter, on-board radar, on-board digital computer, calibration, channel calibration, calibration of antenna arrays.
