Abstract. This article is devoted to the issues of modeling a number of possible antenna failures that may occur during the flight of an aircraft radar carrier. A waveguide horn model was considered as an example of an antenna. The results of modeling a number of structural mechanical defects of the antenna and radiation patterns are presented with the expectation of application in the design of a system for automated control of the technical condition and diagnostics of antennas in flight operation of aviation radar systems.

Key words: antennas, monitoring system, directional pattern, radar.
