Abstract. The article on the basis of analysis of modern scientific-technical publications and Internet data sources examines the current state of acoustoelectronic component base. Classification and main applications of the surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices, a variety of design and materials are discussed. The company manufacturers of the component and and substrates for them are given. The problems and directions of advanced studies are listed.
