Abstract. An ultra-wideband axisymmetric dual-reflector system with a metal-dielectric feed system has been developed and investigated. As a result of numerical modeling using finite element, moment and finite difference methods in the time domain and parameter optimization, it has been shown that the optimized dual-reflector antenna provides the efficiency of more than 0.5 in a frequency band greater than 5:1, and more than 0.7 in a frequency band greater than 3:1.
Key words: dual-reflector antenna, ultra-wideband antenna, metal-dielectric feed, Mikaelian lens.
Financing: The work was carried out using budget funding within the framework of the state task 0030-2019-006.
