the Use of millimeter wavelength radiation of the atmosphere for the remote sensing of Earth surface

Abstract. Principal possibilities of passive remote sounding in millimeter wavelength region for determine of scattering characteristics and thermodynamic temperature of Earth’s surface top layer and also identification of natural objects by using of spectral features of atmospheric incident radiation are considered.
