Abstract. The article deals with the problem of automatic tracking of super-maneuverable targets with tracking sensors. Conclusions are drawn about the need for the formation of estimates of derivatives of high-order state coordinates for tracking systems. It is dealt with the problem of synthesis of a filtering algorithm for auto-tracking systems for targeting on super-maneuverable targets. It is given algorithm for filter reconfiguration by taking into account the sign of the maneuver in the filtering algorithm. This filter is reconfigured by using a more complex state model. The sign of the maneuver is issued by the maneuver detector, which is triggered with a delay of 3 seconds. The filtering algorithm is investigated in the process of modeling the laws of state coordinate changes.  The effectiveness of the filtering algorithm in modeling is determined by the values of the potential variances, the current estimation errors and true accuracy variances. The study concludes with the following conclusions: the accuracy of estimation from the moment of the beginning of the maneuver depends mainly on the latency of detection of the maneuver; when changing the structure of the filter in the time increment k, it is necessary to correct the values of the potential variances.

Keywords: intensive maneuvering, tracking sensors, adaptive filtering, filter reconfiguration, optimum filtering.
