This article describes analysis of sequence of time points. Points follow each other with unknown constant period. Sequence consists of finite unknown number of points. Each point of sequence can be decimated (lost) with some unknown probability. Procedure of transformation of sequence, which makes possible the detection of periodic sequence and evaluation of its parameters: period, probability of decimation of points of sequence, number of points in original sequence and coordinate of the center of sequence is suggested in this article. Operating characteristics of detection and characteristics of estimations of sequence parameters are found. Investigated process can serve as an adequate model for detection of pulse packet of radio signals against the background of signal-independent noise, which is received by passive radio-locator, working on Neyman-Pearson criterion in case when probability of false detection of single impulse is set to minimal value (close to zero).
