TO THE SOURCE OF RADIO EMISSION

IN A TWO-CHANNEL PHASE DIRECTION FINDER

Abstract. The article presents a block diagram of a two-channel phase direction finder with amplitude modulation of the signal. The features of the formation of a radiation pattern in the form of a cardioid using non-directional biconic antennas are considered. An algorithm for estimating the bearing using a limited number of antenna elements (two direction finding pairs) is proposed. A variant of increasing the number of bearing estimates for one contact with a radio source based on the use of a sliding buffer is presented.
