METHOD OF LAYOUT OF ELECTROMAGNETIC ABSORBERS
IN THE STRUCTURES OF SMALL-SIZE MODAL FILTERS

Abstract. The paper presents new methods for the layout of electromagnetic absorbers (EA) in two modal filter (MF) structures: based on a coupled microstrip line and a four-layer mirror-symmetric strip line. The frequency and time characteristics of MFs with ES are analysed using the finite element method. The advantages of each of the EF layout methods in terms of suppression of ultra-wideband electromagnetic interference are shown.
