Abstract. Countering unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is relevant today, as drones pose a threat to military and civilian facilities and individuals. The number of incidents involving the use of drones for unauthorized purposes, as well as the use of micro-UAVs for industrial espionage, breaching secure perimeters, delivering prohibited cargo, and destabilizing the situation, is growing daily in conflict zones. The article discusses a method of countering low-altitude UAVs by applying an electromagnetic field to the semiconductor elements of the onboard equipment, which causes the induction of parasitic currents whose frequencies are close to the clock frequencies of the electronic devices on board the micro-UAV, but are not equal to them, which is sufficient to disable the onboard control system or cause incorrect operation of its individual elements. The use of powerful electromagnetic radiation is based on the action of a microwave complex that negatively affects the radio electronics.
Key words: nonlinearity, semiconductor elements, micro-UAV, microwave.
