THE SPECTROSCOPY OF RUBY CRYSTALL WITH THE HELP OF
FREQUENCY-CORRELATED PHOTONS

We present a method of quantum spectroscopy
using the frequency-correlated photon pairs generated by spontaneous parametric
down-conversion. An absorptive sample was placed in one channel of Braune-Twiss
scheme interferometer, and frequency was measured in another channel. The
absorption spectrum measured by method of biphoton spectroscopy is well agreed
with a same sample spectrum measured by laser spectroscopy.
