Abstract. In this work the
restoration of the signal passed through non-ideal low-pass filter (LPF) is
considered. It is
shown that by using inverse filtering it is possible to restore partially the original
signal. Complete recovery is possible only by using information about the
finite signal duration and information about the bandwidth of the filter.
