Abstract. In this paper, detail
study of the ring-like metamaterial cloak (Smith et al) at a wide range of
microwave frequencies was carried out. The setup for microwave electric field
visualization was developed (Russian Patent). The metamaterial cloak studied is
shown to have good cloaking properties at certain frequencies.
