Abstract: In the paper a new method for detection
EEG rhythmic components phase synchronization is
proposed and investigated. It can be applied for detecting synchronization as in the case of averaged ERPs
as in the single-trial ones. The method proposed
is based on empirical probability distribution functions technique,
particularly on function tangent slope analysis. Experimental results and their
compliance with modern brain investigations are also under discussion.
