Abstract: Results
of calculation and measurements of traveling wave tube (TWT) characteristics with
sections of non-synchronous interaction intended to reduce phase sensitivity
of the device to a change of electron beam voltage are given. Calculated and
experimental data are compared; reasons of their discrepancy and possibilities
of further improvements of TWT parameters are discussed.
