Abstract.
Microwave oscillator, based
on the microstrip log-periodic antenna integrated with field-effect transistor
and substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) is investigated. SIW geometry
provides the oscillator fundamental frequency cutting off. Electric field
distribution at the fundamental and second harmonic frequencies is obtained via
FDTD method. Second harmonic oscillation at 27 GHz with 100 uW output power is
experimentally obtained.
