Abstract. Different types of radiators:
sharp end of single-strip line (SSL), narrowed end of SSL, patch resonator were
developed and investigated. The investigation of matching, polarization and
directivity of radiation characteristics were conducted on the base of the
Finite Element Method (FEM). It was shown that the patch resonator radiator is
the best of them from the point of view of matching with SSL and has much more
wide band of frequencies in comparison to the microstrip patch radiator. The
results of the numeric research are well conjugated with the physical
experiment.
