Abstract: In the paper power consumption of direct chaotic transceivers meant for
using in wireless ultrawideband sensor networks is investigated. Some ways of
energy saving to provide long autonomous operation period of the transmitters
are proposed. For this aim different approaches are used: So we need to find
the way to reduction of power consumption of our devices. For this aim several
approaches are used: design solutions, using low consumption elements,
communication protocol organization and using of sleep modes.
Key words: power consumption, energy saving, ultrawideband communication systems,
ultrawideband sensor networks.
