A plane-layered model for interaction between the field of the dipole antenna and the human head

Abstract:
The energy characteristics of a half-wave dipole
placed near a plane-layered lossy medium simulating the human head are
investigated. The calculation method is based on rigorous solution of the
radiation problem for a dipole placed near a plane-layered structure. It has
been found that, at small distances from the model of the human head, the
antenna near field makes the dominant contribution to the loss of the
electromagnetic field.
