In this work the research results of
influence from input circuit of microwave one-port transistor amplifier (OPTA)
with series positive feed back are described. This kind of amplifiers allows
receive high enough parameters of transmission coefficient and noise figure by
help of simple circuit. A new theoretical approach to the analysis of the
reflection amplifier is applied, resulting conditions of the amplification mode
for OPTA and the physical connection between transmission coefficient and noise
figure. Calculated and experimental data are presented to illustrate the
amplifier operation at L band.
