numerical simulation of the field in focus domain of ideal Veselago lens with
limited size

The
result of strict numerical solution of 2D scattering problem by ideal Veselago
lense with limited size are presented and discussed. It is shown that this type
of lens has limited resolution and emphasized that field's distribution in its
focusing domain is like focising process of cylindrical wave in ordinary medium.
It was fixed that small losses of the medium is not affected on resolution of
the lens but can caused a big changes of field's amplitude on inner surface of
lens.
