Abstract.
The circular antenna array of six patch antennas as an antenna system for access
points with full coverage in azimuth is proposed. The array is two-polarized
and operates in the 2.4 GHz band. The model is constructed and numerical calculations
of frequency and radiation characteristics are carried out. It is shown that
each element has the directional radiation pattern with the front-to-back ratio
around 20 dB, and the entire array provides full 360°
coverage in azimuth by beam forming in each of six angular sectors. Use in
Wi-Fi access points is feasible.
