Abstract. Temperature fluctuations of the current of superconducting
THz mixer and temperature instability of a cold head of closed cycle pulse tube
helium refrigerator have been investigated. Spectrum of periodic temperature
pulsations with characteristic frequencies cyclically operating cooler have
been studied. Theoretical and experimental smoothing techniques of temperature
fluctuations and evaluated the efficacy of passive inertial method have been
developed. As a result of the proposed package of measures the degree of influence of the cooling mode DC-cooled mixer is
reduced ~ 20 times. Some technical
solutions for development of high sensitive superconducting THz receivers with
mechanical coolers have been formulated.
