Abstract. Subsurface environmental is the macrosystem. A
considerable dispersion of the dielectric constant in the m-, dm- wavelength
diapasons is implied for it. The variational principle of describing dynamics
of macrosystem using entropy for two electromagnetic pulse (EMP) ultra-wideband
(UWB) signals is used. It is shown that the order of construction of the
empirical probability densities (EPV) is determined by the formation of the
grouping intervals of experimental data. Building of EPV is the building of multimode
reflected signal. By introducing of a singularity in the EPV EMI UWB signals construction
entropy - combinatorial criteria for their evaluation and then finding the
auto-, cross-correlation function (ACF, CCF) and volatilities for ACF and CCF
is carried out. The efficiency of proposed criteria is shown by the examples of
the dam Bureya HPP, zone "washout" in St. Petersburg and oil shale
deposits in Myanmar.
