Abstract.
It was created the radio
physical infrastructure for 0.5 T MRI scanner Bruker Tomikon S50, designed to
configure transceiver channels on Larmor frequencies of other than protons
nuclei, essential for biomedical research. Thus, for the first time in world
practice on the model of medical tomography, it was realized registration of
NMR signals from 7 nuclei 1Í, 2Í, 11Â, 13Ñ, 19F, 31P, 23Na and NQR signal from nucleus 35Cl. It shows that the use of
external and implanted passive coils tuned to the frequency selected nuclei
leads to increased received signal by three orders of magnitude, allowing to
record both NMR spectra and MR images.
