Abstract. A
cylindrical array based on radiators in the form of the cutting from a
polyconic antenna is proposed and studied. Numerical simulation and
optimization for both polarizations was performed using the finite element
method. The results of the experimental study of a fragment of the array are
presented. The results show the possibility of the array matching in the
frequency band of 1: 100.
