Formation of radar images of hydrodynamic structures created by ship

Abstract. Modern concepts of the
physical mechanisms of formation of radar images of the surface wake of moving
objects are examined, when sensing is carried out from the spacecraft. We considered
these types of hydrodynamic formations as ship waves, foam and turbulent wake. The
main attention is paid to the formation of a new, recently discovered type of
disturbances, created by the moving object, it is called narrow V-like ship
wake.
