A Method for improvement of radio images 
spatial resolution in millimeter wavelengths

Presented and tested digitally a method for 
improvement of quality of radio thermal images in millimeter-wave band, based on 
the aprioristic information about statistical characteristics of a similar class 
objects’ spectra and known receiver antenna transfer function. The method 
realization is a filtration of false overshoots in spatial spectrum of the radio 
thermal image to be improved. The spatial resolution is shown to be increased 
significantly depending on noise level and accuracy of transfer function 
prescription.
