SPIRAL STRUCTURE IN ANTIFERROMAGNETICS WITH MAGNETOELECTRIC EFFECT

Possibility of existence of spiral structure in centralsymmetric antiferromagnetics with magnetoelectric effect is discussed. It is shown that this structure is caused by linear nonuniform exchange and can be induced by electric field in materials with low anysotropy and high value of magnetoelectric susceptibility preferably.
