Abstract. The patient-oriented approach in the management of medical and diagnostic process using information and communication systems and rapidly developing technology of surface acoustic waves (SAW) is presented. A brief analysis and patent research of the construction technology for passive intelligent sensors on SAW. The requirements for wireless monitoring of the patient current state on their basis are formulated for the first time. Obtained optimal solutions of radio frequency components (RFC) for passive smart SAW sensors confirm the possibility of creating a new generation of wireless monitoring systems. There were developed both the design principles, calculating methods for parameters of RFC crystals and tags of the different digit capacity based on P matrix method and the basic manufacturing technology for SAW crystals including computer-aided topological design, and their installation in the LTCC ceramics. The system analysis of existing information technologies for decision-making support under medical and diagnostic activities for the treatment of patients with arterial hypertension was made, as well as the main indicators for comprehensive assessment of its effectiveness were justified and formalized.

Keywords: wireless monitoring, biological signals, cardiovascular system, surface acoustic waves (SAW), radio frequency identification (RFID), tag, non-reciprocal devices.
