Abstract. Frequency efficiency, noise immunity and complexity of implementation are the most important parameters of binary message transmission. One of the ways to increase frequency efficiency is parallel transmission by narrow-band signals. The article analyzes the transmission of binary messages by signals obtained by orthogonalization of linearly independent narrow-band signals. Matrix orthogonalization based on singular value decomposition of the matrix is used. The formation of the transmitted signal and processing of the received signal are considered. The noise immunity of the transmission is estimated using modeling. The considered method of transmitting binary messages ensures good frequency efficiency of the transmitted signal and a relatively small peak factor with high noise immunity.
Key words: narrowband signals, complex envelope, orthogonalization, frequency efficiency, peak factor, noise immunity.
