MULTI-BEAM WAVEGUIDE-SLOT ANTENNA ARRAYS WITH BIFOCAL BEAM-FORMING SYSTEMS AND WIDE FREQUENCY SCANNING SECTOR

Abstract. The problem of the synthesis of a bifocal mirror-lens system that converts two diverging cylindrical waves into plane waves has been solved. The analysis of aberrations of the synthesized bifocal system is carried out. Using electrodynamic modeling based on the finite element method, a multi-beam waveguide-slot antenna array with a wide sector of frequency scanning and two types of bifocal beam-forming systems - two-mirror and mirror-lens is studied. A linear waveguide-slot antenna with four longitudinal slots per period was used as an element of the array.
