The study of the characteristics of frequency-phase scanning of a focused slotted waveguide array

Abstract. Results of a research of phase-frequency scanning in the radio-objective representing the focused array of leaky wave waveguides with variable distance between slots along waveguide are given. Scanning of a focused radiation in a Fresnel zone of the array is carried out in two directions: in the plane formed by the waveguide axis and the normal to the array due to change of frequency and crosswise - due to change of a phase shift between the next waveguides of the array. Emergence and positions of the interference maxima of the array radiation are investigated. Comparison to scanning characteristics of periodic arrays is carried out.
